All users can control what others see on their contact cards. You can set different visibility options for roles such as Students, Teachers, Parents, Nurses, and others.
You can adjust privacy settings only when you're logged in to the account you want to edit.
Please take a look at the important notes on privacy settings below.
At the bottom of this page, you will also find instructions for editing the privacy settings.
Important:
- Faculty and staff rely on MyKing to access student and family contact information. If you restrict King employees from viewing your child’s contact card, school administrators may need to reset the privacy settings to ensure direct communication can continue.
- King School utilizes your cell phone number, home address, and email address that are listed on MyKing for multiple communication services and email distributions, such as emergency texts/calls regarding weather closures, delays, and school-wide alerts, PA communications, and school-wide announcements.
- By default, the Student-to-Student directory displays email addresses only, while the Parent-to-Parent directory includes names, addresses, and phone numbers.
By default, the Teacher-to-Parent/Student directory shows email addresses only, while the Teacher-to-Teacher directory includes email addresses, addresses, and phone numbers.
If you want to hide what certain roles (such as Students, Parents, Teachers, or Nurses) can see, please continue with the instructions below.
Edit Privacy Settings per Roles
- Log in to MyKing, click your Name in the upper right corner, and then click Settings.
