To follow the steps below, ensure that at least one of your devices is logged into the King School Gmail account.
It may be the same device that you are using to reset the password.
If you are logged out of your school's Gmail account on all your devices, please contact us via email at help@kingschoolct.org
Note that this password is the same password that you will use to log into your school's Google Workspace account (Gmail/Classroom), Classlink, Chromebooks, Microsoft 365, DiLL, and Canon printers on the network.
For Faculty & Staff, this password will also be used for your MacBook login.
- Click here and select Forgot your password?
- Fill out the username, CAPTCHA code, and then select Continue.
The name "William Test" will be used as the name in all of the examples below.- Faculty/Staff - ONLY enter your firstinitial+lastname (wtest) as the username.
- Students - ONLY enter your firstname.lastname (william.test) as the username
If you encounter an error at this step or if you are unable to proceed further,

- From the drop down menu, select your full King School email address. Fill out the CAPTCHA and then select Continue.
- Access the device that is still logged into the school's Gmail account (please read the notes at the beginning of this page). You should've received an email from help@kingschoolct.org with the subject Password Reset Confirmation.
Copy the provided code from the email, return to the website, and enter the code. Complete the CAPTCHA and select Continue - Please create a new password, type in the password again in the confirmation box, fill out the CAPTCHA, and select Reset Password.
Please see below for the password requirements/restrictions.- You can not use your first or last name in the password.
- Have at least 1 capital letter and 1 number. 1 symbol is recommended but not required.
- The password must be at least 8 characters long.
- You're all set once you see the image below. If you encounter an error, please review the password requirements listed in Step 5.
- For Faculty & Staff - After resetting your password, when you log into your MacBook with the new password, you may encounter a Keychain Access prompt requesting your previous password to unlock the 'login' keychain. Depending on the macOS version of your MacBook, the prompt will look something like the image below.
Select Update Keychain Password and then type in your old password.
Any device previously logged into the school's Google account will now be logged out. Please log back into the account using the newly created password. If you encounter any issues while attempting to follow these steps, please email us at help@kingschoolct.org to request further assistance.
