Requesting for Local Admin Privileges with Jamf Connect

With Jamf Connect, users can now request temporary admin privileges without submitting a help desk ticket.

These privileges are granted at 2-minute intervals.

1. Click on the Jamf Connect icon located in the menu bar and then click Request Admin Privileges from the drop-down menu.
   
   
2. Choose a reason from the list and click Continue.
   • If your reason isn't listed, select Other and enter a short description.
     
     
     
3. If your request is successful, you'll see a notification like the one shown below. You now have admin access for 2 minutes and can enter your credentials where admin privileges are required.
