UniFLOW SmartClient is software that is required for your MacBook to connect to the school's print server. UniFLOW SmartClient must be running and properly connected so that you can send your print jobs to the print server and release the job via secure print.

The instructions below will help you set up uniFLOW SmartClient for the first time.

If you are having issues with printing after you have configured the app, make sure that you see the uniFLOW SmartClient app is running by checking the menu bar at the top — the icon looks like the screenshot below.

The icon must be colored and not grayed out. If the icon is grayed out, please get in touch with the IT Help Desk.

  1. Open Finder → Applications → uniFLOW SmartClient
    • If you don't see Applications under the Favorites tab, you can try to search for uniFLOW SmartClient using Spotlight. Either press Command + Space or select the magnifying glass icon at the top right of your screen and type UniFLOW SmartClient. Select the option that appears.

  2. Once the uniFLOW SmartClient app opens, click Continue with King School.

  3. You will be prompted for a Microsoft login. Use your King School email address and password.

  4. Upon successful login, you will see the image below. You can close this window.

  5. Done! Moving forward, when you go to print, select MyPrinter - UniFlow Online 2020. If you don't see this option, try clicking See more…
