Changing the output/input source when connected to an external device

  1. Search for Sound using the spotlight at the upper right corner and hit Enter on your keyboard.


  2. In the new window under Output, change the source to whatever device you are connected to. If you are connected to a device via HDMI, you will see HDMI under the Type column. (Note: What you see on your screen may differ from the picture below but the steps will still be very similar)
    Viewboards - The name will usually start with IFP.
    Projectors - The name will usually have EPSON.


  3. If you are connecting an external microphone, click on the Input tab and select the external source that you would like to switch to. If you are connecting an USB device, you will see USB under the Type column.
