- After completing the initial installation, you may be prompted to update the M365 applications. While we advised keeping these applications updated, they are not necessary. However, if you experience issues with the apps after a successful installation, we recommend trying to update the apps as your first troubleshooting step. As always, send an email to help@kingschoolct.org if you need further assistance.
THE SECTION BELOW ONLY APPLIES TO WINDOWS OS
When prompted to Allow my Organization to Manage My Device:
Leaving this option checked allows your school account credentials to be used across all Microsoft 365 apps.
We will not have the ability to manage or control your device.
Alternatively, you may choose “No, sign in to this app only”.
If selected, you’ll need to sign in to each M365 app individually (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
If you see a “Something went wrong” error message, you can safely click Done and ignore it.
It does not impact your Microsoft 365 access.
