Transferring a Call

There are two ways that you can transfer the call:
Blind Transfer - Transfer the call to the 3rd party without waiting for the 3rd party to pick up.
Attended Transfer - Transfer the call to the 3rd party once the 3rd party picks up.


  1. When a caller is on an active line, press the button associated with Xfer.
  2. When you hear a dial tone, you can start dialing the extension or the external phone number to which you wish to transfer the call.

  3. To blind transfer the call...
    • Press the Xfer button again and hang up when prompted on the screen. Your call will be transferred to the third party.

  4. To attend transfer the call...
    • Press Dial. Wait until the 3rd party picks up to inform them about the call. When ready, press Xfer, and hang up when prompted on the screen. 
       
    • Press End if the 3rd party doesn't pick up and you'd like to return to the original call.
