If you were not able to make the PolyCon an alternative host, please follow the instructions down below.

  1. Schedule the meeting as you normally would. In these instructions, you can use Google Calendar.
    1. If you are using Google Calendar, add shconf@kingschoolct.org as one of the Guests. Click Make it a Zoom Meeting down at the bottom once you are done.
    2. If you are using the Zoom app or on the Zoom website, add shconf@kingschoolct.org as one of the attendees.

  2. After the meeting is scheduled, the event should appear on the PolyCon controller. However, you as the host will have to start the meeting from your device and then have the PolyCon join as a guest.
    1. Start the meeting from the host's device.
    2. IMPORTANT - Mute your microphone, turn off camera, and mute the volume on your MacBook/device. If not, you may experience an echo and feedback.
    3. Once the meeting has begun, click Join on the PolyCon controller.
    4. If you have a waiting room enabled, admit Simon House Conference Room into the meeting.
    5. You may have to enable both the camera and microphone from the PolyCon controller, depending on the meeting settings.

  3. Optional - If you would like to control the meeting from the controller and disconnect your MacBook/device, make Simon House Conference Room the host of the meeting from the device you started the meeting on (Participants > Click on the Simon House Conf... > Make Host or Co-Host) . After making Simon House Conference Room the host, you may leave the meeting from the initial device.
