Accessing Classlink (non Chromebook device)

If you do not have Google Chrome on your device, please install it from https://www.google.com/chrome/. King School uses Google Workspace, and the Chrome browser ensures that all the portals configured on Classlink can be accessed properly.
Open Google Chrome and log in to a new Chrome Profile.
The bullet points below will explain how to log into your King School profile, whether you’re installing Chrome for the first time or using an existing Chrome installation.
- If you are installing Google Chrome for the first time...
  The initial page, when you launch Chrome, has a Sign-In link. Select Sign In to create a new Chrome profile.
- If you already have Google Chrome...
  You can add a new profile by clicking on the icon for your profile in the top right corner, next to the three vertical dots. Then, at the bottom of the window pane that appears, there will be an Add option.
The credential format below is for signing into your Chrome profile only — it will not work for Classlink.
For the Classlink credential format, refer to step 7.
- Student email addresses are in the following format: firstname.lastname@students.kingschoolct.org
- Password: Password used to log into King School Gmail.
After entering the King School email address and password, you will see a prompt that says “Your organization will manage this profile.” Please click Continue. We will only be able to manage the settings within the King School Chrome profile - we will not have access to your device.
On the next prompt, you must click Yes, I’m in for the correct configurations and extensions to be installed in the Chrome profile.
After signing into your King account on a new Chrome profile, go to ClassLink using the following link: http://kingschoolct.org/classlink

  Please remember the following information:
  Make sure to use the link provided above. To access King School's ClassLink portal, you need to open it using the correct Launchpad. Here's a rule of thumb: if you don't see the King School logo on the ClassLink sign-in page and you see a Code (optional) text field, you are NOT on the correct webpage.
The format for each student’s username and password to log in to ClassLink is as follows:
1. Username: firstname.lastname (william.test)
2. Password: Password used to log into your King School Gmail.
