Accessing Classlink (non Chromebook device)

Open Google Chrome and log into a new Chrome Profile using your child's King School account. 




If you have just installed Chrome for the first time, or if the King School account has not been added to Google Chrome, follow steps 3, 4, and 5.

If the King School account has already been added, skip to step 6.

The following credentials are only for logging into the Chrome profile, not Classlink. The credential format for Classlink can be found in step 7.

1. Student email addresses are in the following format: firstname.lastname@students.kingschoolct.org
   
   

2. Password: Password used to log into King School Gmail.
   
   
   
   
   

If you are installing Google Chrome for the first time...
the initial page when you launch Chrome has a Sign-In link. Select Sign In to create a new Chrome profile.

If you are currently signed into your personal Chrome Profile (not King School's account), you can add a new profile by clicking on the icon for your profile in the top right corner, next to the three vertical dots. Then at the bottom of the window pane that appears, there will be an Add option. (continue to step 5...)

After entering the King School email address and password, you will see a prompt that says “Your organization will manage this profile.” Please select Next. We will only be able to manage the settings within the King School Chrome profile - we will not have access to your device.

Then another prompt will appear that looks like the image below. Be sure to select “Yes, I’m in”

You must select Yes, I'm in for the correct configurations and extensions to be installed to the Chrome profile. 

After signing into your King account on a new Chrome profile, go to ClassLink using the following link: http://kingschoolct.org/classlink

   Please remember the following information:

   Make sure to use the link provided above. To access King School's ClassLink portal, you need to open it using the correct Launchpad. Here's a rule of thumb: if you don't see the King School logo on the ClassLink sign-in page and you see a Code (optional) text field, you are NOT on the correct webpage.
   

The format for each student’s username and password to login to ClassLink are as follows:

1. Username: firstname.lastname (william.test)
   
   

2. Password: Password used to log into your King School Gmail.
